Retailers can drive snack sales this Ramadan as Cofresh launches two limited-edition products.
The range contains two date-based snacks; Arabian Date & Nut Bites, which come in 185g packs and Peanut, Date & Coconut Brittle Bites in 160g packs.
Cofresh is also advising retailers to stock its Bombay Mix and Karachi Crunch, a blend of savoury noodles with lentils and peanuts, which are available in larger 900g packs ahead of the festival.
Debbie King, Cofresh sales and marketing commercial director, said Ramadan offered retailers an opportunity to drive sales when consumers are looking for traditional snacks to share when they gather for their Iftar evening meal.
“It also presents a major opportunity for retailers to highlight their offering and help them stand out from the multiples while driving their customers’ average spend,” she added.
Cofresh will be supporting retailers throughout Ramadan with offers and in-store activity and launching PoS such as shelf-ready packaging, gondola ends and display units.
The company is also running a TV advertising campaign across Asian TV channels throughout the month.
King added: ““With Indian snacks being the fastest-growing taste of choice, retailers can easily capitalise on the increasing demand for bolder, spicier food especially at key selling times such as Ramadan.”
