Coca-Cola named Rugby World Cup 2015 official sponsor

Coca-Cola has announced its official sponsorship of Rugby World Cup 2015, supplying soft drink, sports drink and water.

The Coca-Cola Company and Powerade will provide soft drinks and sports drinks, while Glaceau Smartwater will be the official water supplier. The brand will be working closely with former Ireland rugby team captain, Brian O’Driscoll to increase awareness of the campaign.

Caroline Cater, operational marketing director at Coca-Cola Enterprises, said: “Through the sponsorship we will work with our customers to bring the tournament to life in outlets up and down Great Britain through excellence in activation to help maximise this significant opportunity.”
