Coca-Cola European Partners is teaming up with Spar retailers for the fourth year of its ParkLives summer initiative.
ParkLives runs in 10 cities and encourages consumers to spend time in their local parks and take part in activities run by trained session leaders and volunteers.
The 231 Spar stores that are set take part are within a mile of a ParkLives park.
The events will be promoted with PoS, social media activity and shopper prizes.
One retailer will also win £1,000 by having the best ParkLives promotion in their store.
Debbie Robinson, Spar managing director, said: "This programme is adding value to the consumer relationships that already exist between our stores and the communities they serve."
