Co-op has partnered with Walmart Commerce Technologies to develop Store Assist, an app that speeds up delivery and saves retailers time by removing the need for them to switch between apps or different devices.
Store Assist is new technology to support Co-op’s aim to reach more than one third’s share of the quick-commerce market, and will streamline online orders by putting a number of features on one unified platform.
These features include managing pickup third-party marketplace, ship-from-store, and last-mile delivery orders in one place.

We are pleased to work closely with Walmart Commerce Technologies to implement the new technology that is easy to use and supports our continued growth, while further enhancing the quick and reliable service that is important to our member-owners and customers, whenever and wherever they choose to shop with us.”
Co-op estimates more than 80% of the UK population now has access to Co-op groceries either through its own online site or through partners including Just Eat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
