Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) is once again partnering with Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean and is calling on retailers to get involved.
Last year, more than half a million people took part in the event, cleaning up more than 4,300 tonnes of littler across the country, with CCEP hosting 28 clean ups. This year, the initiative will take place between 20 March and 13 April.
Aman Uppal, owner of One Stop Mount Nod, Coventry, said: “I took part last year as I felt it was a great way of giving something back to the community. For me, it’s about protecting the planet for future generations.”

Nick Brown, head of sustainability at CCEP, said the Great British Spring Clean is a fantastic initiative, which brings people together to help clean up local areas. “We are passionate in our belief that none of our bottles or cans end up as littler,” he added.
Retailers wanting to host an event can download a free guide and poster to display in store from the CCEP Customer Hub.
