In response to increasing demand for free-from alternatives, Dairy Crest is expanding its Cathedral City portfolio with the launch of a range of lactose-free cheddar.

The range, consisting of 200g blocks, will be available in Mature and Mild varieties, with an RRP of £2.25.

Jenny Blanco Barcia, Cathedral City senior brand manager, said: “Demand for free-from alternatives is continuing to grow, both among people who suffer from conditions or intolerances, as well as among those who believe free-from alternatives are key to their healthy lifestyle.”
