Burton’s Biscuit Company is helping retailers capitalise on Christmas snack sales by launching a new festive pack format for its Fish ‘n’ Chips brand.
The Fish ‘n’ Chips Salt & Vinegar Seasonal pack is available in 170g, RRP £1.99. It comes in cases of six and is designed to appeal to customers looking for products to share.
The launch is backed by outdoor advertising and a social media campaign on Facebook and Twitter.
The brand is also currently supported by a partnership with TalkSport radio station, which is aiming to promote the brand to more than 37million men.
David Costello, head of customer category management for Burton’s Biscuit Company, said party and sharing snacks are growing 9% year on year.
“We’re giving retailers the opportunity to grow their savoury biscuit sales at this key time of year, with a product that is sure to attract shoppers to the fixture,” he added.
