Abra Wholesale is seeking buyers to take over its depot in north London, as the firm’s director Dee Thaya confirmed the business is looking to “move on.”
Thaya told Better Retailing he was looking to sell the business “as soon as possible” due to personal circumstances, and had some potential buyers lined up.
He added: “We have been exporting to 50 countries across the world. The 70,000sq ft warehouse offers a great opportunity and has a great interior space and car park. It is in a very well-located unit in North London.”
With one depot based in Edmonton, Abra was established in 2003, serving retailers, caterers and foodservice firms. The firm operates as a delivered wholesaler, as well as a cash and carry.
Recent accounts on Companies House for the year ending 31 March 2023 stated profit before tax fell annually from £417,573 to £171,230. Turnover during the period rose from £45.7m to £52.2m.
