Yakult has announced the release of its latest fermented milk drink, Yakult Plus Peach, set to be available from 1 September 2024.
The new drink features a peach flavour and includes billions of L.casei Shirota bacteria, known to support gut health.
Additionally, it is rich in vitamin C, which helps boost immunity and reduce fatigue, and contains fibre that supports gut bacteria.
Yakult Plus Peach is fat-free, vegetarian-friendly, gluten-free, and has fewer calories and less sugar. It will be sold in an 8 x 65ml bottle pack, with recyclable packaging.

The launch will be supported by advertising across BVOD, social media, and PR campaigns. Hiroaki Yoshimura, Managing Director of Yakult UK & Ireland, said: “At Yakult, we are dedicated to advancing the health and happiness of our customers through scientifically-backed products that taste great.

Yakult Plus Peach will be available on Ocado.com and in independent retailers across the UK, with an RRP of £3.70.
