Welsh brewer Wrexham Lager Beer Co has secured a listing with United Wholesale Grocers, its first wholesale listing in Scotland.
The listing will take effect in mid-October, seeing Wrexham Lager 440ml Export cans and Wrexham Lager 440ml cans distributed to some symbol stores in Scotland as well as supplied to independent United customers across the country.
It marks Wrexham Lager’s first official entry into the Scottish off-trade. Founded in 1882, the brewer claims to be the oldest lager brewery in Great Britain, and has seen incremental growth since the launch of the ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ series on Disney+.
