Weetabix launches on-pack promo with The FA

Shoppers have the chance to win a smart watch every day, as well as Weetabix-branded footballs

Weetabix is marking the third year of its partnership with The FA with an on-pack promotion offering shoppers the chance to win a smart watch every day.

The promotion is live now and runs until 31 July. Participating varieties include Weetabix Original, Banana, Choclate and Protein.

They have a QR code on their reverse, which, when scanned, tells shoppers if they have won a watch or one of thousands of Weetabix-branded footballs.

Shoppers will also get access to the supplier’s ‘Great Starts Game Plan’ hub. This online hub features advice from nutritionists working with England Men’s and Women’s teams, which the supplier says gives the packs added value beyond the chance of winning prizes.

Lorraine Rothwell, head of brand for Weetabix, said: “With England and Scotland taking part in this year’s tournament, it’s going to be a buzzing summer for football and this campaign gives Weetabix a unique opportunity to bring our tasty products to the breakfast table, whether you’re a football fanatic, keen to follow the game or want to keep yourself and your family healthy.”
