Vegan cream liqueur Lacey’s Vodkashake gets UK launch

Yorkshire-based distributor Continental Wine & Food (CWF) has launched Lacey’s Vodkashake, a vegan cream liqueur brand.

The brand is available in Strawberry and Banana varieties, both of which have a 15% ABV and come in 70cl bottles.

As well as being vegan they are also gluten and dairy free. The distributor recommends serving them as chilled shots or added to alcoholic milkshakes or cocktails.

Amy Giacobbi, marketing manager at Continental Wine & Food, commented: “The two Lacey’s Vodkashake variants have instant shelf-appeal and are a great addition to your chillers for the warmer months, as well as the Christmas sales period.

“Additionally, with 10% of UK adults being lactose intolerant along with consumers choosing a plant-based diet, it’s great to offer a drink that appeals to so many people.”

Creamy cocktails and shots have seen growth, particularly in the on-trade, where they grew by almost 30% in 2023.
