Unitas launches limited-edition LSV Sport Cherry alongside rebrand

The wholesaler says the line's 75p PMP will deliver profit for customers as well as value for money for shoppers

Unitas Wholesale has launched a new limited-edition Cherry variety of its LSV Sport own-label energy drink range alongside a wider range rebrand.

The new variety is available in a 75p 500ml price-marked bottle. Its launch accompanies a new pack design across the LSV sport range, which the wholesaler said performed strongly in consumer testing.

Donna Barnett, trading controller at Unitas, said: “We know limited-edition flavours can be a real profit driver, as shoppers love the ‘get it before it’s gone’ experience, and our research highlighted that the new look range will be very popular at fixture.

“With our average consumer buying energy drinks from at least three different outlets each month, including local independent convenience stores, petrol forecourts and supermarkets, the opportunity for incremental sales is there.”

Unitas added that the 75p PMP will deliver profit for Unitas customers as well as value for money for consumers.

“Our focus is always on helping our members and retailers grow, particularly as we are in such a quickly evolving economic environment. The redevelopment of our own brand products ensures that we’re modernising where necessary, and delivering quality, margin boosting products which give shoppers great value,” added Barnett.
