Unitas launches first products under relaunched Local Living own label

The wholesaler has launched five carbonates and four squashes in PMPs

Unitas Wholesale has made a range of soft drinks available as the first products from its relaunched own-label brand, Local Living.

The wholesaler has launched five carbonated soft drinks and four cordials under the new label after announcing plans to transition its own-label products from Lifestyle to Local Living.

The new carbonates are: Lemonade, Diet Lemonade, Orangeade, Cola and Cherryade. They are all available in 2l bottles as a 95p price-marked pack (PMP).

Meanwhile, the new cordials are: Lemon Squash, Blackcurrant & Apple Squash, Summer Fruits Squash and Orange Squash. They are available in 1l £1 PMP bottles.

Tracey Redfearn, head of marketing and communications at Unitas, said: “The cost-of-living challenges that consumers are facing have led to increased demand for great value, high quality own brand products.

“Local Living has been developed to allow our members to thrive in a competitive marketplace and will be home to a quality range of essentials that provide the best margins and profitability. We’re delighted that these products will be on shelves for shoppers to enjoy very soon. We’ll be announcing more launches in the coming weeks.”
