Tango is launching Strawberry Smash this month, the latest addition to its annual Editions range, featuring a blend of strawberry and pineapple flavours. The new variant joins the growing £1.2bn fruit-flavoured carbonate category, aiming to provide more choice for consumers and drive category growth.

The new edition follows the success of previous limited-time flavours, including Tango Mango, Paradise Punch, and Berry Peachy, all of which became top-performing new product developments in their launch years. Tango Mango, introduced in 2024, has already generated £12.7m demonstrating strong demand for rotational flavours.

Ben Parker, VP sales off-trade at Carlsberg Britvic, said: “We know how important it is to create innovative flavours that stand out in the chiller and appeal to all ages. With its refreshing strawberry taste and striking pack design, we anticipate this launch will be a big hit with shoppers.”

Tango Strawberry Smash will be available for a full year across multiple formats, including 330ml cans, 500ml bottles (including price-marked packs), two-litre bottles, and multipacks of 8 or 24 cans. The launch is expected to further cement Tango’s position as the second most purchased fruit-flavoured carbonate brand in the UK, with a consumer base of over 5.3m buyers.
