Sprite and Pringles launch joint PoS

Retailers can request PoS and digital assets from CCEP's trade website

Sprite is partnering with brands including Pringles Hot on cross-category PoS for convenience retailers to drive linked purchasing in-store.

As part of the soft drink’s ongoing ‘Heat Happens’ campaign, and the 9% annual growth of the hot and spicy snacks category, retailers can request joint Pringles Hot and Sprite PoS via my.ccep.com, as well as digital assets.

The PoS and assets are meant to emphasise how Sprite’s lemon and lime refreshment can complement spicy food.

Kate Abbotson, convenience environment lead at Sprite’s supplier Coca-Cola Europacific Partners GB, said: “Recent research has shown that activating occasion-led messaging at point of purchase where food and drink are merchandised together can double shopper engagement and increase sales by up to 32%, so we’d encourage convenience retailers to get activating in-store and appeal to shoppers who want spicy food and a refreshing soft drink.”
