Premier Foods has brought back its Summer of Cricket campaign for the second year in a row, giving independent retailers the chance to win prizes.

The supplier is partnering with wholesalers Bestway and Unitas to offer retailers the chance to win hospitality and general admission tickets to England v Sri Lanka at The Kia Oval and Emirates Old Trafford, as well as a trip to Pakistan for two retailers to train with England cricket coach Paul Collingwood.

To be in with a chance of winning, retailers need to buy five cases of qualifying products from the Batchelors, Nissin, Bisto, Oxo, Ambrosia, Sharwood’s, Loyd Grossman, McDougalls and Be-Ro ranges during the relevant promotion period from Bestway or Unitas.

Bestway offers margins from 30% to 75% with Best-in own-label range

Entrants have until 20 June at Bestway and 23 June at Unitas to win one of two pairs of general admission tickets to England v Sri Lanka at the Kia Oval, or one of four pairs of general admission tickets to England v Sri Lanka at Emirates Old Trafford.

Then, they will have the chance to win the holiday to Pakistan from 21 June until 18 July at Bestway and 24 June until 14 July at Unitas.

Finally, one pair of Emirates Old Trafford hospitality tickets to England v Sri Lanka or one pair of Kia Oval hospital tickets to England v Sri Lanka will be up for grabs from 19 July until 15 August at Bestway and from 15 July until 4 August at Unitas. The wholesalers will contract successful entrants.

Courtney Lewis, customer director for discounters and wholesalers at Premier Foods, said: “From speaking to our retail customers, we know cricket is a passion point for them and the Summer of Cricket campaign allows us to celebrate the sport with them this summer… it’s important for us to give back to independent retailers and support our retail and wholesale channels.”
