PepsiCo has invested £13m in an “extensive upgrade” of its Coventry factory, which includes modernising staff facilities and installing a new manufacturing line for Doritos.
Since launching in the UK in 1994, Doritos have been produced at the Coventry site. The new manufacturing line will enhance every stage of the production process, from corn washing to seasoning.

This upgrade will also improve efficiency and reduce the factory’s environmental impact, cutting greenhouse gas emissions by over 700 tonnes annually.
The investment has funded significant improvements to staff facilities, including renovated workspaces, new changing rooms, a new training center, and a fully refurbished on-site restaurant. The training center, equipped with replica machinery, will provide team members with opportunities to develop their skills off the factory floor.
