Monster adds Cosmic Peach variety to Nitro range

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has launched a new variety in its Monster Energy Additions range: Monster Nitro Cosmic Peach.

The new product, which combines the Monster Energy blend with a light peach and citrus flavour, is available in 500ml cans price-marked at £1.49.

The cans feature a distinctive design with a bright orange background and the Monster claw logo.

Monster Nitro Cosmic Peach builds on the success of Monster Nitro Super Dry, which has generated £6.4 million in sales since its launch in May 2021.

CCEP’s Monster brand has seen significant growth over the past year, adding £108.5 million to its retail value.

The brand continues to experience double-digit volume growth, with the flavoured energy drinks segment increasing by 16.8% in value.

The Additions range, which includes various special edition and Nitro variants, has also seen a 9% increase in value, contributing £38.5m in sales over the last year.

One of the latest additions, Monster Lewis Hamilton Zero Sugar, was the top new energy drink product of 2023 in Great Britain.

Rob Yeomans, vice-president, commercial development at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) GB., noted that innovation has been crucial to Monster’s growth, with the brand becoming the fastest-growing major energy brand in Great Britain.

She highlighted that PMPs, like the new Cosmic Peach variant, are particularly valued in convenience stores for providing reassurance of value to consumers.
