Más+ by Messi, a new energy drink co-founded by footballer Lionel Messi, is set to launch in the UK exclusively through Spar on 10 March.

The new drink, a joint venture between the world’s most decorated footballer and White Claw supplier Mark Anthony Group, will be available from the symbol group in four varieties: Miami Punch, Limón Lime League, Berry Copa Crush and Orange d’Or.

Each flavour is inspired by different milestones in Mess’s career, such as his current club of Inter Miami CF and his many trophy wins, including the UEFA Champions League, the FIFA World Cup and the Ballon d’Or.

The range is designed for hydration, with an electrolyte complex, vitamins and minerals, with no artificial colours, sweeteners or caffeine. Each 500ml bottle contains 1g of sugar and 10 calories.

Spar has exclusivity of the range across England, Scotland and Wales until 31 March 2025. When Más+ by Messi first launched in the USA in June, it sold out online within an hour.
