Independent drinks wholesaler LWC Drinks is now listing James Gin, the gin brand founded by former Top Gear presenter James May.
The wholesaler stocks three of the brand’s varieties: Asian Parsnip, American Mustard and London Drizzle (all 40% ABV).

Speaking about the flavours, May said: “My gin really is mine, not a cynical branding exercise. I came up with the idea of blending the flavour of parsnip (because it reminds me of England and its dampness) with Asian spices (because they add excitement).
“We eventually arrived at the unequivocally named Asian Parsnip Gin, celebrating both my homeland and the pleasures I’ve enjoyed over many decades of international travel at other people’s expense.”
The gin is a partnership between May and Downton Distillery which originally launched in 2021 and is now sold in more than 40 countries worldwide through direct-to-consumer sales.
