Jimmy’s launches collaboration with Myprotein

The global RTD protein drinks market is worth more than £1bn

Jimmy’s Iced Coffee has launched a collaboration with sports nutrition brand Myprotein in Original and Caramel varieties.

Both flavours contain protein-enriched milk and 5.6g of protein per 100ml. The range is also non-HFSS.

It is launching in a 4x250ml can multipack and in Jimmy’s signature 380ml “bottlecan”. Its launch comes as the UK protein market is estimated to reach £438m in 2024, with the global ready-to-drink (RTD) protein beverages market valued at $1.56bn (£1.23bn) in 2023.

Britvic’s retail commercial director in Britain, Ben Parker, said: “We know shoppers have been on the hunt for on-the-go protein beverages for a while now. So, collaborating with Myprotein to bring together the rising protein trend and the popularity of RTD coffee is set to tick numerous boxes for consumers.

“The Jimmy’s Myprotein Iced Coffee will appeal to those looking to incorporate more protein into their diet. The collaboration presents a huge opportunity for retailers to expand their RTD iced coffee range, appeal to new shoppers and increase basket spend.”
