Meanwhile, Nisa has the Prosecco on allocation with an £8 RRP offering a 25% margin and the Rosé at £9.25, offering 35%.
The brand’s website describes the Prosecco as containing aromas of peach and apricot with a touch of sweetness and a crisp finish. The Rosé’s palate features strawberry, citrus and dried sage.
The launch comes as prosecco is the largest sparkling wine segment in the UK, with annual sales of £629m. Meanwhile, rosé consumption in the UK has risen faster than in any other country over the past two decades.
Tom Smith, marketing director – Europe at Accolade Wines, said: “Expanding Dolly Wines into the convenience channel is a really exciting milestone. With strong demand for Prosecco and Rosé, we’re delighted to offer retailers an opportunity to tap into these thriving categories with a brand that resonates across generations.
