Diageo has unveiled a revamp of its online support platform Diageo One to provide more resources to independent retailers.
Previously only available to the on-trade, the site now includes resources for retailers to strengthen their premium drinks sales.
The supplier said it engaged with more than 1,000 independent operators across the on- and off-trade through focus groups and interviews to find out their business needs, challenges and ambitions.

As a result, Diageo One now offers free marketing tools from its top brands including Smirnoff and Guinness, exclusive training material to give retailers the chance to enhance their category knowledge, and the latest category trends.
Retailers can also receive direct support from the supplier at the touch of a button.
Andy Fell, strategy & transformation director at Diageo GB, said: “The platform has a whole range of resources specifically tailored to support our off-trade partners, providing them better access to support and guidance from Diageo than ever before.”
