Diageo is expanding its Cîroc ready-to-drink (RTD) vodka range with the launch of a new Colada variety and bringing back the brand’s Coconut vodka flavour.

Cîroc Colada (5% ABV) is a sparkling drink with vodka, pineapple and coconut flavours mixed with lemonade, in a 250ml can with a £2.75 RRP. It is the fourth addition to the brand’s RTD range, joining Red Berry, Summer Citrus and Tropical Passion.

The supplier is hoping to capitalise on the fact that “tropical” is the second-most popular flavour profile in super-premium vodka, according to Nielsen.

Pippa Lewis, senior brand manager at Cîroc Vodka, said: “Whether shoppers are on the go, at a picnic, or gathering with friends, CÎROC Colada is the perfect addition to fridges, helping retailers tap into these occasions and drive sales.”

Meanwhile, Cîroc Coconut vodka (ABV 37.5%) is made with five-times distilled vodka from French grapes and has natural flavourings. It can be used to make a Pina Colada or as part of a martini cocktail.
