Cheez-It launches cash prize competition for indies

Convenience store owners need to order a free PoS bundle and text pictures of it in store to be in with a chance of winning £10,000

US snack brand Cheez-It has launched a new competition exclusively for independent retailers, with a £10,000 prize up for grabs.

To be in with a chance of winning, convenience store owners need to order a free PoS bundle, which comprises a wobbler, shelf strips, and aisle fins, via this link or through the QR code live now across all print and digital adverts.

Once they have received the PoS kit, entrants just need to text photos of all three assets displayed in store to 81155. The winner will then be chosen at random.

Since launching in the UK last summer, Cheez-It has achieved £10.4m in value sales, becoming the biggest ‘large sharing’ new crisp launch of hte past four years.

The brand has attracted more than 2.5 million shoppers, with 8.6% penetration and a 26% repeat rate.
