Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has launched £2.39 price-marked packs (PMPs) for its Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola alcoholic ready-to-drink (ARTD) range.
The supplier says the move is to help convenience stores deliver reassurance to shoppers that they are getting value for money, which can help retailers drive rate of sale. Both Original Taste and Zero Sugar varieties are available in the new format.
Additionally, the ARTD category is now worth £554m in Britain. According to drinks market research firm IWSR, it is the only alcohol category in the UK predicted to grow consumption between now and 2028.
Coca-Cola aims to be ‘total beverage business’ with Jack Daniel’s collaboration
Elaine Maher, associate director, ARTD at CCEP GB, said: “Value remains a lead motivation for shoppers in convenience, followed by the demand for quality and brands which makes price-marked options from our Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola ARTD range a perfect addition to our portfolio to help further grow the £36m worth of sales achieved since launch last year. In fact, Jack Daniel’s and Cola-Cola Original Taste is already the number one SKU in the ARTD category, and a must-stock for convenience retailers.”
CCEP will support the new format with PoS material and digital assets, available to retailers via My.CCEP.com.
