Burts is adding a Spicy Barbecue variety to its potato chip range for a limited time, to drive summer snacking sales.

The new launch is non-HFSS, vegetarian and free from gluten and artificial flavours.

The snack supplier has cited research suggesting the popularity of spicy barbecue flavours, especially during warmer weather.
