Biona to launch new cooking paste and maple syrup ranges

Organic food supplier Biona is launching a new range of organic cooking pastes as well as three new maple syrups.

The supplier’s cooking paste range consists of Garlic, Ginger and a combined Garlic & Ginger variety. Each will be available in a 130g jar with an RRP of £3.19. These are for time-poor consumers who want quality ingredients for immediate use, the supplier said.

Meanwhile, its syrup range consists of Amber and Dark varieties, both of which will be available in 330ml bottles with an RRP of £6.79. The Amber variety will also launch in a 1l bottle at £23.29.

This range is fully vegan and made from Canadian maple from the Bas-St-Laurent region of Quebec.

Currently, the UK’s organic food and drink market is worth £3.1bn in annual sales, and grew by 1.6% in 2022, its 11th consecutive year of growth, despite challenging conditions.
