Biona to launch French mustard range

Organic food supplier Biona is set to launch a range of French mustards in Wholegrain and Dijon varieties.

Both mustards are free from pesticides, preservatives or colourings and are blended with spirit vinegar and seasoning.

Biona to launch new cooking paste and maple syrup ranges

The supplier says now is a good time to invest in the organic food and drink category, which is now in its 12th consecutive year of growth.

Kelly Shaw, senior marketing manager at Biona’s parent company Windmill Organic, said: “In February this year we carried out some consumer research which revealed two thirds of consumers had purchased organic food and drink in the last twelve months, and a quarter are doing it on a weekly basis, so we’re confident great-tasting natural products like these will be well received by consumers and trade alike.”
