Ben & Jerry’s is launching two new lines, Ben & Jerry’s Non Dairy Bohemian Raspberry and Ben & Jerry’s Brookies & Cream Sundae.

Bohemian Raspberry is launching in partnership with rock band Queen to mark the 50th anniversary of the band’s song ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. The oat-based ice cream includes fudgy brownies and raspberry swirls to tap into a growing trend for berry and raspberry flavours.

Proceeds from sales will go to the Mercury Phoenix Trust, which helps fund treatment of Aids.

Brookies & Cream Sundae is the latest addition to the brand’s Sundaes range, which saw 32% year-on-year growth last year. It combines Cookie Dough and Chocolate Fudge Brownie, two of Ben & Jerry’s most popular flavours, into one vanilla ice cream sundae.

Both varieties are rolling out across grocery, convenience and wholesale this month. Ben & Jerry’s UK country business lead Flo Howell said: “We first launched Bohemian Raspberry back in 2007 after a fan’s suggestion, and what could be more rock ‘n’ roll than bringing it back to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bohemian Rhapsody.

“Brookies & Cream Sundae embodies our belief that good things are even better together. Combining cookies and brownies was a no-brainer for us, and consumer testing showed it’s a hit.”
