Boost Drinks has announced the launch of a limited-edition Raspberry & Mango variety of its Sport Range in April.
The new flavour is available in a 500ml bottle at an RRP of 79p.
Its launch comes as raspberry and mango flavour profiles are seeing 55% and 58% growth respectively.
Additionally, Boost Sport has seen 63% annual value growth and is the number-two sports drink brand in value and volume, according to IRI.
Adrian Hipkiss, marketing director at Boost Drinks, said: “Taking into account the current success of the sports drink category, as well as the growing popularity of the two hero flavours we’ve chosen, now was the perfect opportunity to bring a sports drink to the market that ticked the boxes of both ‘taste’ and ‘value’ – the two main drivers of choice for consumers.

“Packed full of flavour, the release will be available to trade from April with the aim of building a real buzz around the product, providing something that people can enjoy for a limited time only when prepping for a sports event or looking for maximum hydration in their day to day life.”
The supplier will support the launch with a competition in collaboration with its partner Leeds United Football Club. Trade publication readers will have the chance to attend a three-hour stadium tour experience at the club.
This includes watching players train and a personal meet and greet with the team. More information will be available in due course.
