The response to our first ever Better Retailing Awards has been overwhelming and all entries were put through a stringent process to reach our initial shortlist. This was followed by rigorous in-store assessments to determine our list of 33 finalists across the 8 categories.

The Overall Best Shop winner will receive £1,000 to spend on their store.

What happens next?

On 21 August, more than 30 industry experts will come together to judge our 33 finalists and unanimously decide each category winner.

The outcome of the judging day will be a closely guarded secret until the Better Retailing Awards on 14 October when the category winners and the Overall Best Shop will be announced.

The Better Retailing Awards follows the Better Retailing Festival, the not-to-be missed event for independent news and convenience retailers, which will leave you feeling inspired, with a bigger business network and lots of profitable new ideas for your store.
