Bestway Retail has launched a pilot scheme in collaboration with Socio Local to help retailers manage multiple social media pages more efficiently.
The pilot, being rolled out across a select group of retailers, allows them to create and schedule content on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) from a single dashboard. Retailers will also have access to branded content, promotional assets and suggested posts.
The collaboration aims to boost local awareness, enhance product visibility and increase customer interaction. Following a three-month trial, Bestway is expected to expand the programme across its network of retailers.
Mindy Mondair, Bestway Retail’s Head of Marketing, said Socio Local was “built specially for retailers” and had been “inspired by their requests and needs”.

She added: “Retailers are increasingly leaning into the digital side of marketing, recognising that a strong local social media presence is crucial for driving engagement within communities.
“And we’ve listened to our retail partners who have called for better support and tools to help them manage their social media. In response, we’re delighted to introduce Socio Local, the number one management platform specifically tailored to achieve better reach, engagement and in-store performance by leveraging both branded and local store social content, making social media management effortless.”
Ms Mondair also noted that the pilot would allow retailers to save time by “storing, creating and scheduling” all their content in one place.
Michael Nolan, chief executive and co-founder of Socio Local, said: “We fully believe that this will be the start of a new era in how grocery and convenience retailers leverage the power of social media and its connection with local communities.
