Retailers could win a Batchelors hot water station as Premier Foods launches the brand’s Super Noodles pots into the convenience sector.
The launch follows the product’s entry into supermarkets last year. To celebrate its roll-out into convenience, Premier Foods is offering one retailer the chance to win a branded hot water machine, enabling their customers to consume the noodles within minutes of their purchase.
“The new pot format has helped us modernise Batchelors Super Noodles, making it more relevant for the convenience market and impulse purchases,” said Steve Kelly, convenience channel director at Premier Foods.
The quick meals and snacks category continues to grow, and is now worth £380m. Kelly recommended stocking the pots in the standard grocery aisle and food-to-go section.
“Pot snacks sell well all year round, but fresher’s week is key,” he added.
The Super Noodles pots come in four flavours – Chicken, BBQ beef, Curry and Bacon – and come in outers of eight. They are available in price-marked packs at £1.09.
