Appleby Westward, Spar wholesaler for the southwest of England, has partnered with national bakery chain Greggs to offer its products in stores.
The Spar Bemerton Heath store in Salisbury has installed a Greggs franchise as part of its recent renovation and is due to reopen on 16 February.
The company-owned store temporarily closed in December for fixtures with existing in-store services including an ATM, National Lottery facilities, a wide range of alcohol, fresh fruit and vegetables, chilled and frozen food, soft drinks and more.
Greggs and Appleby Westward are offering four weeks of savings to the local community by distributing vouchers to properties surrounding the store in the days prior to the grand opening.

The savings include a free coffee in the first week and a free sausage roll in the fourth week.
The wholesaler hopes to grow the partnership to introduce Greggs counters in more company-owned stores.
Adam Welsford, food services manager at Appleby Westward, said: “I’m delighted that Appleby Westward is progressing with Greggs and has plans to partner with other complementary brands. Each partnership will create even more jobs for local communities and will also give our customers a wider variety of products at an affordable price, all under one roof.
“Bemerton Heath is a real community store, so it’s great to be able to begin the Greggs partnership in this particular store and I can’t wait to see how it progresses.”
