Upcoming National Lottery operator Allwyn has begun contacting stores to arrange on-site surveys ahead of its take-over next year.
Director of retail Katharine Challinor confirmed the news at the National Convenience Show in Birmingham last week.

She added: “The surveys start in May. We’ll be giving retailers three weeks’ notice ahead of visits.”
