AG Barr is expecting to emerge triumphant this summer by launching a raft of sporting activity across several soft drinks brands.

Rubicon will also have Mango, Guava, Pomegranate and Watermelon flavours available in special 1l £1.29/two for £2 PMPs for Ramadan

The supplier is an official supporter of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, and to celebrate, it has introduced limited edition pack designs for Irn-Bru this month. The ‘Born to support’ packs feature a special design which combines the Glasgow 2014 logo with Irn-Bru’s iconic ‘molten man’.

Exotic soft drink Rubicon is also getting in on the action, launching an on-pack promotion and a digital campaign. The ‘Win a Commonwealth holiday’ promotion is running across 10 million packs from this month, offering shoppers the opportunity to win a holiday to a Commonwealth country of their choice and one of 5,000 Rubicon branded back packs featuring the Glasgow 2014 logo.

A #readytomango campaign to increase trial of Rubicon’s on-the-go packs has also launched, forming part of the brand’s Mango Week celebrations, which increased sales of Rubicon Mango by 27% last year.  Rubicon is asking consumers to send in their #readytomango selfies with hundreds of prizes up for grabs.

“With excitement for Glasgow 2014 continuing to build, consumers will be actively seeking products which enable them to show their support for this momentous event,” said Adrian Troy, head of marketing at AG Barr.
